Saturday 11am - 1.00pm, Sunday, Monday and Bank Holidays Closed. Your Welcome Pack which includes Programme of Events will be posted to you on the same day.

Joining by Post

You will need to download and complete the registration form and then pop it in the post to:- amité UK Ltd, Suite 100, Watermark Centre, Ivybridge, Devon, PL21 0SZ.

Where are events held?

Events are held at various venues throughout South, East and West Devon and also South East Cornwall. The evening events are usually within an easy commute of the A38 express way. The venues are carefully chosen for there location, atmosphere and excellent service. A good example is The Lavender House Hotel, Nr. Ashburton, a perfect setting for Party Nights and Balls. Weekend events during the day, like lunches, picnics, walks, fun activity days, National Trust properties etc. are in gorgeous locations all over Devon and Cornwall.

When?

The majority of events are at held at weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun), although there are some such as Tenpin bowling and Quiz nights that are held during the week. The Programme of Events is posted or is available online to members, so you have plenty of time to make your choices and arrange your social calendar accordingly.

Who attends?

People who join amité are just like you! The majority of members are aged 40 plus who wish to expand their social life, make new friends or even find that someone special.

A warm welcome

A Personal Welcome: Upon arrival, expect a warm welcome by an amité host, who will then introduce you to some of your fellow guests. There’s no need to feel daunted, as we all took that first step, and we're sure you’ll find the setting and people very friendly, relaxed and sociable.
